PepsiCo, the US food and drinks firm, is expanding its Tropicana fruit juice range with the launch of “a 100% juice with one billion live and active cultures per serving”.
Described as combining the goodness of 100% juice with the functional benefit of probiotics, Tropicana Essentials Probiotics is said to contain more than the recommended daily value of Vitamin C in each 8oz serving and to be free from added sugar, preservatives and artificial flavours.

Tropicana Essential Probiotics will be available in selected outlets in the US from October, in both single-serve and multi-serve formats. The varieties available are Strawberry Banana, Pineapple Mango and Peach Passion Fruit.
