Sonoma Brands, “a one-of-a-kind consumer products incubator and venture fund” founded in January of this year, has announced the launch of a new line of “snackable marshmallows” sold under the name SmashMallow.
Designed to “satisfy any sweet tooth on-the-go”, SmashMallow is promoted as a “premium ‘snackable’ marshmallow brand… created to redefine the sweet snack into a ‘better-for-you’, reduced guilt option for consumers who care about their health and wellbeing”. Additionally advertised as being made with organic sugar and all natural ingredients, SmashMallow Marshmallows are claimed to range from 70 to 90 calories per serving and to be a gluten-free, clean-label indulgence. Cinnamon Churro, Strawberries & Cream, Espresso Bean, Mint Chocolate Chip, Toasted Coconut Pineapple, Meyer Lemon Chia Seed and Root Beer Float comprise the seven varieties promising “taste and wow-factor beyond an ordinary marshmallow”.
