FMCG giant PepsiCo Beverages North America has announced the acquisition of 152 acres of land in the Denver Development Area that will be used for a new 1.2 million sq ft manufacturing facility.
According to sources, the plant will be the most sustainable as well as the largest plant of PepsiCo Beverages North America.
The new facility will replace a manufacturing plant in the River North Art District, tripling the production capacity and it will also provide 250 new jobs in Denver.
PepsiCo Beverages North America’s West Division’s president, Johannes Evenblij, said “With the High Point facility serving (as) a model for the future of PBNA’s supply chain, we’re eager to continue deepening our dedication to Colorado through positive impacts such as new job opportunities and more sustainable business solutions”.
The plant is expected to be operational and opened in 2023 and will produce products for the Pepsi, Gatorade, Bubbly, Rockstar, Propel, and Muscle Milk brands.
