PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA), has opened a new 115,000 sq ft distribution facility in Colorado Springs, USA.
The new plant will reportedly quadruple the company’s inventory capacity for soft drinks, allowing it to distribute popular brands such as Pepsi, Gatorade, Celsius, and Rockstar to Colorado residents and consumers across the US.
The new facility is said to incorporate cutting-edge technologies like solar power for charging delivery fleet pallet jacks, a roof designed for further solar expansion, LED light fixtures with motion control and EV conduit installation to cater to future electric fleet vehicles.
PepsiCo is constructing its largest plant in the US a short distance away from Colorado Springs near Denver International Airport.
