Lolli & Pops, a portfolio company of private equity firm TerraMar Capital, has announced the acquisition of US-based confectionery producer Hammond’s Candies for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 1920, Hammond’s manufactures handcrafted candy canes, lollipops, and other classic sweet treats.
Lolli & Pops is a leading retailer of chocolates and other unique sweets from around the world.
Commenting on the move, Lolli & Pops CEO Keri Morris said: “Hammonds’ dedication to creating high-quality, handmade confections aligns perfectly with our vision of providing our customers with the finest and most delightful treats. This acquisition represents a union of two companies that share a passion for sweetness and a commitment to excellence”.
