PepsiCo, the leading food and drinks manufacturer, is expanding its breakfast portfolio in the UK with the launch of new milk drinks under the Quaker brand.
Described as being “perfect for your breakfast on the go”, Quaker Breakfast Drink is said to blend wholegrain oats, milk and fruit “to give you a delicious tasty and satisfying drink, to start your day at its best”.
The new product highlights PepsiCo’s continued focus on on-the-go breakfast, following on from last year’s launch of Quaker Fruit & Oat Squeeze and Porridge To Go.
Commenting on the launch, Quaker Oats senior marketing manager Steph Okell said: “We are really pleased to be helping retailers make the most of the on the go breakfast occasion by moving Quaker into a new territory with out breakfast drink. People’s everyday lives are becoming increasingly busy, and on the go solutions are one way to help make their mornings easier”.
Available in Vanilla and Red Berries varieties, Quaker Breakfast Drink is promoted as containing 86% milk and 11g protein per serving. The product goes on sale in 300ml bottles with an RRP of £1.45 ($1.93).
