Jerky and biltong manufacturer Meatsnacks is to introduce a range of salmon jerky under the Speyside Smokehouse brand name.
The new range will be produced in Scotland, where the company has a smokehouse in Spey, following the same production method as its Wild West meat jerky.
Meatsnacks Group managing director James Newitt said: “We’re really excited to be launching Speyside Smokehouse salmon jerky into the retail market. High in omega-3, high protein and low calories, our salmon jerky is a perfect snack at any time of the day without compromising on taste”.
Available in three varieties – Sea Salt and Black Pepper, Sweet Chilli Pepper and Teriyaki – Speyside Smokehouse Salmon Jerky is to be sold across the UK at an a RRP of £2.50 ($3.22) for a 30g bag.
