Tayto, the UK’s third largest snacks firm, has signed a deal to acquire “grab and go” snack firm Bite UK, according to media reports. UK crisp and snack manufacturer Tayto has acquired a range of assets, including trademarks and brand names, from popcorn company Pop Notch for an undisclosed sum. Irish based snacks firm Tayto has acquired the Tavern Snacks brand and the majority of Portlebay Popcorn for undisclosed amounts, according to a report in the Irish Times.
