Spanish supermarket chain Dia has launched a new campaign called Choose Your Promotion for its Minipreco banner in Portugal, which for the first time will give customers the opportunity to choose the special offers they would like to see in stores.
According to Grande Consumo, the initiative will launch on the supermarket’s Facebook page, where every week two options will be up for vote. The option with more votes will be available in stores one month after the end of the vote, with the announcement of the results being made public on the company’s website, Facebook page and in store Minipreco leaflets.
Ricardo Torres Assunção, communication and advertising director for Grupo Dia Portugal, said: “The strategy we have developed for 2017 continues with our ‘Family Moments’ principle, allowing us to get closer to our clients. We believe that this mindset is the best way to achieve common goals. By including them in decision-making – like choosing the offers that will be available in stores – Minipreco is increasingly able to be the first choice of Portuguese families”.
Grupo Dia has over 600 Minipreco stores in Portugal.
