Food company Vibrant Foods has announced the acquisition of Cofresh Snack Foods, a UK-based producer of healthy Indian snacks for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 1974, Cofresh Snack Foods owns two main brands, Cofresh and, Eat Real, and according to sources, the company’s retail sales stood at around £75 million last year.
This acquisition follows Vibrant Foods plan to “consolidate the apparent growing ethnic foods and healthy snacking market”.
