Food company Vibrant Foods has announced the acquisition of Cofresh Snack Foods, a UK-based producer of healthy Indian snacks for an undisclosed sum. Founded in 1974, Cofresh Snack Foods owns two main brands, Cofresh and, Eat Real, and according to sources, the company’s retail sales stood at around £75 million last year. Cofresh, which claims to be the UK leader in Indian-style snacks, is investing £20 million ($25. million) in a new factory and warehouse in Nuneaton, UK to keep pace with the expansion of the business, according to a report in the Leicester Mercury.
