USA: Next In Natural acquires Three Trees

Next In Natural, the US-based emerging brand platform, has acquired Three Trees, a Californian producer of organic plant-based milks and milk teas, marking its first venture into plant-based dairy.

Founded by Jenny Eu in California, Three Trees offers whole nut and seed milks that contain up to four times more nuts and seeds than leading brands without the use of gums, oils, thickeners, or emulsifiers. The brand produces eight plant-based milks, such as Black Sesame and Pistachio, alongside a bottled milk tea line launched in 2025 across varieties like Matcha, Jasmine, Oolong and Classic. Its products are stocked nationally by retailers including Whole Foods, Sprouts and Target.

Next In Natural plans to connect Three Trees with Chameleon Cold Brew, an organic coffee brand it acquired earlier, to explore morning coffee collaborations combining cold brew with frothing plant milk.

“Great coffee deserves great milk”, stated Kristine Laurel, chief operating officer at Next In Natural. “Three Trees and Chameleon were made for each other. Our shared marketing, R&D and business development teams let both brands scale symbiotically while keeping Jenny’s quality-first mission front and center”.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
