Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting, the Indian consumer goods company, has acquired a 60% stake in science-backed skincare brand Dermatouch for an enterprise value of 387.5 crore INR ($46 million). The remaining 40% will be acquired over the next three years, with the residual transaction linked to Dermatouch’s performance. Founders Anish Nagpal and Amit Purswani, along with their management team, will continue to run the business.
The acquisition marks Wipro Consumer Care’s 18th corporate deal globally and its third strategic transaction within a month, following its purchases of TTK Healthcare’s Good Home and Eva brands and Philippines-based personal care company S Brands.
Commenting on the acquisition, Kumar Chander, chief executive officer of Wipro Consumer Care and managing director of Wipro Enterprises, stated: “Building digital brands is not our strength […] That’s why we rely on founders like Anish and Amit because that’s their strength”. He added that the brand had already demonstrated an ability to expand offline.
According to corporate filings, Dermatouch’s revenue rose 314% to 63 crore INR ($7.5 million) in the 2025 financial year.
