Nestle is expanding its Nesquik brand to target adults with a new protein-enhanced milk drink in the US.
Positioned as “perfect for the casual athlete”, Nesquik Protein Plus is available in Vanilla and Chocolate flavours and “supports the active and healthy lifestyles of adults young at heart who are striving for a balance between ‘grown-up’ responsibilities while not giving up on the fun”, according to a press statement.
The product is described as a health spin on the firm’s original flavoured milk, featuring 23g of protein per 400g bottle as well as claiming to contain 28% less sugar than the leading protein-enhanced flavoured milk. The product is already available in stores across the US.
Describing the product, Nestle commented: “Nesquik is staying true to its larger commitment to deliver products that provide nutritional benefits, while still maintaining a great taste.”
