Keurig Dr Pepper have recently announced the acquisition of the non-alcoholic cocktail brand Atypique from Station Agro-Biotech.
The agreement made for the acquisition has both Keurig and Station Agro-Biotech fuel the growth of Atypique using the research done by Station Agro-Biotech in the product category and Keurig’s sales network.
Chief financial officer for the international branch of Keurig Dr Pepper, Ozan Dokmecioglu said “We are excited to add this new platform to our powerful portfolio in Canada, and the global rights to Atypique provides optionality to further expand the brand’s growth potential”.
Atypique is offered in the spritz, margarita, gin and tonic, mojito, spiced rum and cola, red sangria, amaretto sour, gin, aperitif, and whiskey varieties, containing less sugar than their alcoholic counterparts, according to Station Agro-Biotech.
The acquisition is expected to close by the early fourth quarter of this year, however, the terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
