US-based cereal and snack giant Kellogg is updating its “classic” Raisin Bran breakfast cereal with the launch of Raisin Bran Granola, Fortune reports.
According to the news agency, granola sales have remained resilient despite a slowdown in the cereal category more widely over recent times.
Jeremy Harper, senior marketing director for Kellogg’s Morning Foods, spoke of the launch by saying: “The granola category is a first-ever innovation for Raisin Bran. Raisin Bran continues to be a breakfast favourite among adults and from our research, granola has also topped that list. We wanted to merge the two to create a breakfast dream team”.
Kellogg’s Raisin Brand Granola is being launched in the varieties Raisins & Honey and Cranberry & Almond and will retail at $3.99 per pack.
