The Hershey Company has launched a new chocolate spread based on its long-standing Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup brand.
The traditional sweet, comprising a disc of milk chocolate filled with peanut butter, has inspired Hershey’s new spread which blends chocolate and peanut flavours.
“Reese’s Spreads offer an authentic Reese’s experience to fans who are looking for delicious snack options throughout the day”, said Daren Russ, Brand Manager, Food & Beverage Enhancers at The Hershey Company. “With the launch of Reese’s Spreads, we are honoring our great heritage and bringing consumers a new, but still perfect, way to enjoy the Reese’s brand”.
The new combination, promoted as “the two REESE’S flavors that go so well together”, joins the existing Hershey’s line of chocolate spreads launched at the beginning of 2014.
Reese’s Peanut Butter chocolate spread is being made available across the US in 13-ounce jars priced at $3.89.
