Ampro Industries, a US-based manufacturer of multicultural hair, skin, and personal care products, has announced the acquisition of several personal care brands from Keystone Laboratories, according to a Global Cosmetic Industry report .
The products being acquired are said to include the conditioner Long Aid, Ultra Glow skin cream, Better Braids shampoo, Better Locks hair cream and K7 hair oil.
Commenting on the deal, an Ampro spokesperson said: “We believe the similarities that exist between ourselves and Keystone make the acquisition of their legacy brands a perfect fit. We are committed to meeting our customers’ needs by manufacturing quality products for an affordable price”.
The company added: “We are excited about this new chapter in our company’s store. Through these additional brands, we will expand our skin care offering and further our reach into the textured hair community. We promise to continue the Memphis tradition and provide our consumers with high-quality products they can trust”.
