UK tea and coffee firm Taylors of Harrogate, the company behind the Taylors of Harrogate and Yorkshire tea brands, has launched a new limited-edition iced coffee blend designed for filters and cafetieres.
Made using a blend of roast and ground Arabica beans sourced from Central and South America, Africa and Indonesia, Taylor’s of Harrogate Iced Coffee Ground Coffee has been specially developed to be served cold over ice with milk.
Described on the company website as “our coolest ever blend”, the new launch is claimed to “put[] barista-level iced coffee at your fingertips – for the perfect summer drink”.
Commenting on the launch of the new blend, Taylors of Harrogate marketing executive Carly Sunderland said: “Our new creation was born out of the insight that a lot of consumers reduce or stop drinking hot coffee during the warmer summer months. Our Iced Coffee creates a new occasion to drink coffee, providing them with a refreshing summertime alternative, which they can prepare in the comfort of their own homes”.
Taylor’s of Harrogate Iced Coffee Ground Coffee will be avaialble between May and September and will be retailed at an RRP of £3.49 ($5.05) for a 227g pack.
