Europe, Non-Alcoholic Drinks

Contract Bottling (CBL), a British beverage manufacturer, and Speaking Water Brands have merged to form Clearly Drinks Ltd.

CBL produces a wide range of flavoured and natural spring waters and soft drinks for customers in UK, and also exports cordial to  the Middle East.

Martin Thornton, managing director at Clearly Drinks said: “This is a fantastic opportunity that creates a foundation for further expansion and business growth in all areas. Clearly Drinks looks set to go from strength to strength driven by investment in our facilities, customer service and our brands”.

The newly-formed holding company will feature as its flagship brand Perfectly Clear , which accounts for around 40% of the group’s revenue and was recently extended with the launch of a new Clear Sensation sparkling flavoured water. The company said it also planned to exploit organic growth and channels using its flexible manufacturing base.

The structured divisions of CBL Drinks and Speaking Water will continue to trade as Clearly Drinks Ltd., according to sources.
