Nestle Waters, Nestle’s bottled water division, has announced a 25 million CHF ($25 million) investment at its Henniez bottled water site in Switzerland to upgrade and modernize facilities.
Dubbed H2Orizon 2020, the investment aims to improve efficiency by modernizing equipment and processes, as well as stimulate innovation and reduce ecological impact. Among the planned improvements are the installation of a new production space for the preparation of flavoured waters and fruit juice, and the replacement of two ageing bottling lines with one modern, more efficient line.
Commenting on the move, Alessandro Rigoni, general director, Nestle Waters Switzerland said: “Thanks to this investment, we reinforce the Henniez production site and equip it for the future development of our strong brands. We have established an exemplary partnership with the most important actors of the region, notable with the ECO-Broye environmental project, which protects Henniez’ water resources. And we will continue on this path in the future”.
