Gama spoke to Ori Yehudai, President & CEO, Frutarom.
What should manufacturers do to be successful in the current economic climate?
I believe that in order to be successful in an ever more challenging economic environment, we must demonstrate creativity and flexibility when dealing with our customers and provide top-notch service. Being able to adapt and adjust to our customers’ needs and work with them in creating innovative but cost-effective solutions strengthens the bond we have with our customers and creates long-lasting partnerships. I find it is important to lead innovation and internal R&D efforts in collaboration with world leading research institutions and universities as well as with start-up companies in focused areas where we identify current and future consumer trends while complying with ever increasing regulation requirements. These factors spell continued growth for the business.
