Coca-Cola Amatil New Zealand (CCANZ), a producer and marketer of soft drinks, has announced that it is to partner with Auckland Airport on the development of a new facility in New Zealand.
Under the terms of the partnership, Auckland Airport will reportedly build a 12,000 square metre warehouse to accommodate CCANZ’s manufacturing operations.
Chris Litchfield, Managing Director of CCANZ, said: “Auckland Airport has the ability to deliver a product which meets our specific requirements. We need to consolidate a number of operations into one, meaning that we require a location that ticks all the boxes in terms of connectivity, security and accessible amenities”.
“CCANZ is one of the largest bottlers of non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverages in the Asia-Pacific with a portfolio that consists of several leading household brands. We are thrilled that CCANZ has entrusted Auckland Airport as its property partner”, added Mark Thomson, Auckland Airport’s general manager property.
