Morato Group, a leading Italian bakery firm, is continuing its strategic expansion by acquiring Massimo Zero, a company specialized in the manufacture of gluten-free products made with 100% Italian flour.
Based in Alto Adige, Massimo Zero will now be run by Morato Group subsidiary NT Food in partnership with Botzen Invest, a local investment company.
Commenting on the deal, Morato Group CEO Stefano Maza said: “We are very proud to have concluded this transaction, which will allow us to bolster our presence in the gluten-free market with a brand recognized for quality and excellence, completing our offering for specialized channels”.
