Italian cheese producer Auricchio Group has announced the acquisition of 3B Latte, a manufacturer of goat, buffalo and cow’s milk cheese.
According to sources, 3B Latte has been operating for 70 years and generates a turnover of €35 million (US$36.6 million) and its portfolio includes the Vaccino, Di Capra, and Senza Lattosio brands.
Florindo Bertoni, CEO of 3B Latte, commented: “This project will allow us to accelerate our growth while maintaining great focus and autonomy in management. We have chosen to enter into a partnership with the Auricchio Group because it is complementarity to our products, vision of future growth and shared entrepreneurial values”.
Based in Lombardy, Auricchio Group reports a turnover of €320 million ($335 million), and the company produces Italian cheese under brands such as Auricchio, Riserva Esclusiva Auricchio, Locatelli Giovanni Colombo and Caseificio Villa.
The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
