What key trends do you expect to shape food innovation in 2015?
More and more food products will be tailored to specific needs, meeting a range of consumer requirements and allowing the company to be present in different channels, with the main goal of achieving better volumes and increasing group sales. At the same time, there is a need to keep a close eye on sustainability.
What should manufacturers do to be successful in the current economic climate?
All of us, as FMCG manufacturers, need to be as close to the consumer as we can, listening to their expectations and needs, watching the way they live and the way they eat, and trying to adapt production lines to achieve the flexibility that is now required.
