India: Clear Premium Water acquires majority stake in Kelzai Volcanic Water

Clear Premium Water, an Indian manufacturer of bottled water, has acquired a 51% stake in Kelzai Volcanic Water, a brand of volcanic spring water.

Established in 2007, the Kelzai Volcanic Water brand provides water sourced from volcanic springs in the Western Ghats, and is claimed to be rich in essential minerals and electrolytes. It is available in various sizes of plastic and glass bottles in both still and sparkling varieties.

As part of the acquisition agreement, Kelzai Volcanic Water will be exclusively distributed and promoted by Energy Beverages, the parent company of Clear Premium Water.

Commenting on the acquisition, Nayan Shah founder & CEO of CLEAR Premium Water said: “Our collaboration with KELZAI Volcanic Water highlights our commitment to meeting the rising demand for natural mineral water. By combining Clear’s expertise and KELZAI’s established brand identity, we’re poised to transform KELZAI’s market presence and dominate the luxury water segment”.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
