FMCG multinational Nestle has announced the launch of its first products developed by its incubator team in China.
According to Nestle, the products were released under the new brand name Xingshan and comprise three herbal drinks and three herbal soups, offering the benefits of Chinese medicine and cuisine.
Developed jointly by the Nestle China incubator team and the company’s brand division Totole, the new products are said to feature rose, pomegranate, tremella and mushroom as key ingredients.
Nestle said it was investing strongly in new innovation platforms and incubators in order to meet the changing tastes of consumers.
The Xingshan brand was developed over a period of eight months and will initially be sold through online channels, the company added.
