FMCG giant Nestle has announced that it is investing R$200 million ($61 million) in its Nescafe Dolce Gusto Factory in Brazil, located in Monte Claros, Minas Gerais.
According to InfoMoney, the investment will double the factory’s current production capacity to 800 million capsules per year.
The investment will allow the opening of two new production lines to manufacture varieties already being produced at the facility: Espresso Coffee, Espresso Intenso, Barista, Matinal, Cappuccino, Cafe au Lait, Chococcino, Nescau, Cortafo, Latte Macchiatto, Vanilla Latte Macchiatto, Mocha and Chai.
Besides its Brazilian site, which has been operating since 2016 as a result of an initial investment of R$220 million ($67 million), Nestle has Nescafe Dolce Gusto facilities located in Spain, Germany and Ireland.
