Germany based coffee and coffee accessories firm Melitta is introducing a range of coffee capsules in Brazil that is compatible with Nespresso coffee makers.
The new product lineup comprises Ristretto, Marcato, Staccato, Audacce and Tenuto, which are divided according to their aroma profiles of intense, balanced and fruity.
According to Embalagem Marca, the range is manufactured in Brazil, in an exclusive production line in Melitta’s unit in Avare (Sao Paulo). The capsules are said to be hermetically sealed during the production process, which protects the capsules from light and air.
The new Melitta coffee capsule line is initially being made available only in Sao Paulo, but the company said it also expected to distribute to other regions of Brazil by the end of 2018.
