Soft drink giants Coca-Cola, Ambev and Britvic have all showed preliminary interest in buying stakes in Brazilian juice producer Natural One, according to sources quoted in Reuters.
Natural One, founded 10 years ago by Ricardo Ermírio de Moraes, has hired the investment banking unit of ABC Brasil to advise it on the transaction, sources said. In addition to the three FMCG firms, at least three investment companies, one of which is teaming up with a Brazilian agribusiness entrepreneur, are also analysing the transaction with a view to submitting a bid, the report continues.
Natural One manufactures cold pressed, preservative-free and 100% juice fruit drinks, as well as vegetable drinks and low calorie ice teas.
