Proper Crisps, a New Zealand crisps brand, has announced the opening of a new manufacturing plant in Yarra Valley, near Melbourne, to manufacture its crisps using Australian potatoes.
According to sources, Proper Crisps has been selling New Zealand made crisps in Australia since 2019 and the demand for their products in Australia doubled in 2021. With this investment, the firm is aiming to continue to grow in the Australian market.

The plant in Yarra Valley gives us the opportunity to work with Australian crisp lovers to make the best crisps for them”.
The new plant will manufacture various flavours of crisps, including Marlborough Sea Salt, Cider Vinegar, Smoked Paprika, Rosemary and Thyme, Onion and Chive, Free Range Sage & Onion, and Barbeque Rub.
