UK: Vibrant Foods to acquire Fudco

Producer and distributor of South Asian food in the UK, Vibrant Foods, has announced the acquisition of Fudco a producer of Asian food.

Founded in 1979, Fudco has a portfolio of 2,500 SKUs with products such as nuts, spices, dried fruits, pulses, specialty flour and other Asian foods.

Rohit Samani, executive chairman of Vibrant Foods, commented: “We see this new partnership as a powerful new platform for the brand to take its growth to the next level, as we seek to continue its impressive performance across major retailers and local community stores where Fudco is so known and loved.”
