Estonia: Liviko to launch drinking and disinfectant vodka

Liviko, an Estonia-based distiller, has announced the launch of the dual-purpose vodka Travel Safe bio, a drinking vodka that can be used as a disinfectant.

Founded in 1898, Liviko is a well-known exporter of brands such as Vana Tallinn Liqueur, Crafter’s London Dry Gin, and Crafter’s Aromatic Flower Gin.

Made from 100% organic grains, this new vodka is sold in travel-friendly bottles of 100ml and have an ABV of 60%, that according to sources “smaller quantities of the liquid can be used as the alcohol element in mixed drinks than is usually the case to achieve the desired effect.”

Jörgen Herman, Liviko Export Director, said: “It’s designed for people who love to travel. It’s the perfect size for travelling and staying safe, as it can also be used as a disinfectant for hands, surfaces, fruit, and vegetables”.
