Dalli Group, the German family-owned washing cleaning and personal care products manufacturer has signed an agreement to acquire Farmol S.p.A.
Headquartered in Comun Nuovo Italy, Farmol was founded in 1946 and specializes in the contract manufacturing of aerosol and liquid products for the personal care and home care categories. The company operates across six sites in Italy, Hungary, Slovakia and Tunisia, employing approximately 1,000 people to support brand manufacturers across Europe.
According to Dalli Group, the transaction will strengthen the group as a whole and further expand its contract manufacturing business, complementing its existing range of services. Completion of the deal remains subject to merger control clearance, a process that experience shows takes several months, during which time both entities will remain legally independent.
Commenting on the deal, management of Dalli Group said: “With Farmol, we are bringing together two experienced companies that stand for quality and reliability. We want to be an even more reliable partner for our customers, and we are taking this step deliberately”.
The dalli group added that both companies will initially continue to operate independently in the market, with no immediate effects on day-to-day site operations.
