Cravicious Foods, the Indian frozen food manufacturer, has announced the launch of a new production facility in Greater Noida to bolster its presence in the retail and foodservice sectors.

The new plant provides 125 metric tonnes of production capacity, supplementing the firm’s existing 300 metric tonne monthly capacity. Equipped with freezing technology, the facility is designed to improve supply capabilities across various distribution channels, including quick commerce and direct-to-consumer (D2C).

Ekansh Garg, co-founder and CEO of Cravicious Foods, commented: “A lot of this development is happening alongside the commissioning of our next manufacturing unit, which is scheduled to go live shortly and will immediately strengthen our production and quality capabilities with a 15 to 20 per cent increase in manpower”. He added that the intention is to “introduce offerings that add depth to our portfolio and serve both B2C and B2B demand more effectively”.

Cravicious Foods caters to vegetarian and non-vegetarian segments through its Meaty Story and Veggie Story consumer brands. The company is reportedly targeting 2.5 billion INR ($30 million) in revenue within the next five years.
