Atelier Expressions, the Singapore-based premium lifestyle platform of Indian conglomerate TVS VENU, has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Lonestar Hospitality Private Limited (Khoya), a luxury handcrafted mithai brand based in New Delhi, India. The transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to complete at the end of August 2026.

Founded in 2016 by Sid Mathur, Khoya specialises in premium, handcrafted traditional Indian mithai (milk-based sweets), chikki (nut brittles), mukhwas (aromatic palate cleansers), and savoury snacks. Mathur will retain full operational and execution responsibility under the new partnership.

The acquisition adds to Atelier Expressions’ growing portfolio of artisanal businesses, which includes French Limoges porcelain house J.L. Coquet, Dubai restaurant Khadak and London-based luxury motorcycle helmet maker Hedon. Parent group TVS VENU recorded approximately $6.5 billion in revenue for the 2026 financial year.

Commenting on the investment, Tara Venu, executive director of Atelier Expressions, said: “Khoya reflects the qualities we look for at Atelier Expressions, and we look forward to working together to build on its success while preserving the authenticity and character that define the brand”.
