MANCHESTER – 2nd July 2025: Gama, a global provider of business information and services specializing in FMCG product innovation and international trade, has today officially opened applications for Gama Speed Pitch, an exciting new feature that will debut at the Gama Innovation Conference & Awards (GICA) on Wednesday 22nd October 2025, between 11.30am and 12.30pm BST.
Interested companies are invited to apply by sending an email to Silvia Ruiz (silvia.ruiz@gamaconsumer.com) with an Investment Opportunity Summary of no more than 150 words, including details such as the value of the round and minimum investment. The full Gama Speed Pitch lineup and timetable will be announced to investors in October.
The new feature will see up to 12 founders of innovative FMCG start-ups and scale-ups take to the stage to deliver compelling 3-minute pitches to a panel of investors from around the world, in a private session live from Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall.
Hosted by Cris Arcangeli, Chief Executive Officer, Investor, Serial Entrepreneur and Shark Tank Brazil Host, the Gama Speed Pitch feature forms part of Meet The Investor, a six-month programme which pairs innovative start-up and scale-up FMCG businesses with private and institutional investors keen to expand their consumer goods portfolios.
Founders participating in the Gama Speed Pitch will also showcase in a dedicated Meet The Investor section of the Innovation Zone.
The additional feature comes as GICA celebrates ten years of dynamic support to the consumer goods sector, providing a unique forum for firms keen to network, meet new partners and expand their business.
Commenting on the new feature, Gama Founder & CEO Cesar Pereira said: “From day one, the mission of the Gama Innovation Conference and Awards (GICA) has been to bring together the global FMCG community, and to become a hub for new partnerships and valuable new connections. With our Gama Speed Pitch feature, we are building on GICA’s reputation as an ‘accelerator’ for the industry, and opening up new doors for innovative and forward-thinking suppliers and investors alike”.
