Vilore Foods, the US importer and distributor of the La Costena and Jumex brands, has collaborated with Captura Group, a Hispanic digital agency, to launch a content marketing platform focused on Mexican cuisine, according to a report in Portada Online.
Named Mexico Rico and avaialble at Mexicorico.com, the website is designed to showcase traditional and contemporary Mexican recipes based on products from the La Costena and Jumex brand ranges.
Speaking to Portada Online, Lee Vann, Founder and CEO of Captura Group said that the bilingual approach was chosen as “the site targets both U.S. Hispanic consumers and general market foodies. Targeting both U.S. Hispanic consumers and general market foodies, Mexicorico.com showcases traditional and contemporary Mexican recipes featuring La Costeña and Jumex products as well as associated cooking tips, ideas, and inspiration”.
“Our approach with Mexicorico.com is to educate consumers about genuine Mexican cuisine and inspire them through recipes and tips”, he added.
MexicoRico.com is to be supported through an integrated marketing strategy that includes paid digital and in-store activations, Portada Online says.
