Seviroli Foods, a US food processor owned by Mill Point Capital, has announced the acquisition of Mama Rosie’s, a family-owned manufacturer of frozen pasta products, in order to broaden its portfolio, scale up the business and diversify its customer base.
Mama Rosie’s supplies customers in the northeastern US with speciality filled and non-filled frozen pasta, produced in Charlestown and Woburn (MA).
Seviroli Foods produces various pasta items, including ravioli, tortellini, stuffed shells, manicotti and short cut pasta. The company also imports specialty foods under the Vertullo brand.
Commenting on the acquisition, Mama Rosie’s CEO and owner Nick Sardo said: “We are happy to be partnering with the Seviroli team and believe that both Mama Rosie’s and Seviroli share mutual foundations in consistently delivering excellent products to our customer partners”.

Mr Sardo will act as a senior advisor post-deal.
