Merrick Pet Care Inc. has unveiled more than 60 new all-natural food and treat recipes for dogs as it looks to consolidate a leadership position in natural and organic pet food products.
The company, which specializes in natural pet foods and treats, unveiled full lines of all-natural treats and humanized canned dog food recipes at the Pet Food Expo in Orlando, Florida. Among the new products on display were Kitchen Bites, Power Bites and Dental Chews, “chunky can” meals, and extensions to the company’s “grain free” line which it has been developing since 2012.
Mark Sapir, vice president of marketing for Merrick Pet Care, said: “Many pet parents believe their dog is the best dog ever, and to honour that relationship they seek the very best for their dog, including food choices that make every mealtime special with quality, nutrition and taste. This and other insights drove us in our development of our new items that we believe surpass many of the options currently available in the marketplace.”
