Mayorga Organics, an independently owned and operated company specializing in organic coffee, has announced plans to open a new 33,000 sq ft facility in Miami, FL.
The company said the new site would work in conjunction with an existing facility in Rockville, MD to provide distribution of coffee, chia, and other organic products across the East Coast
Mayorga’s new plant will reportedly feature an open floor plan with a coffee bar and retail showroom. The retail area is said to include almost 4,000 sq ft for tastings, tours, events, and classes.
Commenting on the move, Martin Mayorga, founder and president of Mayorga Organics said: “I’ve wanted to have a presence in Miami since I launched Mayorga Cigars 25 years ago”.
“We exist to create market opportunities for our farmer”, he added. “The Miami market is ideal for us to bring our message of sustainability, high quality, and to be unapologetically and proudly Latino. This larger facility will allow us to evolve into sustainably sourced cacao and other diversified products”.
