USA: Lone Star Gold acquires Good Hemp

Lone Star Gold,  a manufacturer and distributor of natural and functional hemp derived beverages, has announced the acquisition of Good Hemp, a hemp-derived CBD-infused drinks brand based in Colorado.

Good Hemp products have been sold throughout the USA since 2016 via Amazon, as well as through local retailers.  The product line includes Good Hemp 2oh!, described as a line-up of refreshing, all-natural, ready-to-drink waters in six flavours, as well as Good Hemp Fizz, a carbonated line sold in three flavours. Both products are claimed to contain 6g prebiotic fibre and 10mg of “CBD rich” hemp oil.

Commenting on the deal, Lone Star Gold CEO William Alessi said: “We are very excited about the acquisition of good hemp® and the potential it has to drive value for our shareholders. We have been spent the last 18 months reinventing the company and planning our new direction forward in the hemp industry. This acquisition marks our first significant step in that direction”.
