Lassonde, a producer of fruit and vegetable drinks, has announced it has completed a $53 million expansion at its facility in Hendersonville (NC).
The site expansion includes a new single-serve aseptic production line offering 10oz and 16oz beverages in 6, 12, and 24-pack formats and a 104,000 sq ft distribution centre.
Commenting on the expansion, Lassonde Industries president and chief operating officer Vince Timpano said: “The expansion and improvements at the Hendersonville facility demonstrate Lassonde’s commitment to a growth strategy that builds long term value by continuously seeking new ways we can meet customer needs, particularly in the U.S. market”.
“Our investment in Hendersonville will produce immediate and long-term benefits including higher volumes and more variety of the products consumers enjoy and have come to expect from us”, he added.
The expansion has generated 30 new jobs.
