USA: Kellogg’s launches Origins cereal line

Kellogg’s is going ‘back to basics’ with the launch of Origins, a line of six cereals, granolas and muesli that are claimed to be prepared simply, with no artificial flavours or hydrogenated oils.

The new range comes on the market as part of the launch of new 40 products across the US and features Fruit & Nut Blend and Ancient Grains Blend cereals, Raisin Apple and Cranberry Almond with Pumpkin Seeds granolas, and muesli in two varieties: Apricot Cashew Coconut with Raisins & Almonds and Raisin Apricot Cranberry with Pumpkin Seeds Muesli.

Promoted as being “made from ancient and traditional grains and blended fruit and nuts” Kellogg’s Origins aims to “bring the simplicity back to your breakfast table with wholesome, fulfilling food that’s nourishing from the start”, the company said.
