US based Hilmar Cheese has recently announced that it has broken ground on its new cheese and whey production facility in Dodge City, KS.
According to a company press release, the new facility will be delivered through an investment of $600 million.
Founded in 1984, Hilmar Cheese is claimed to be one of the world’s largest producers of high quality American-style cheese and its product range is currently available in over 50 countries.
The Dodge City facility will have the latest technology and advancements in conservation and sustainability such as systems to control energy usage and recycled water, the company said.
The new plant is expected to generate 250 new jobs.
