Mondelez International has announced plans to refresh its Pepitos! Biscuits brand in Uruguay with new product launches and new pack designs.
The brand update will see the launch of Pepitos! White, chocolate flavour cookies containing ‘pearls’ of white chocolate which will be available in packs of 118 and 354 grams.
Meanwhile a further product launch is that of Mini Pepitos!, a smaller version of the traditional Pepitos! cookies available in pack of 50 grams. This new product is intended to allow consumers to enjoy Pepitos! cookies at any time of the day, according to Mondelez.
Alongside the product introductions, the brand design is also being updated, centred around the slogan “it’s the most!”. The traditional characters associated with the brand have been retained, but the logo has been made more “dynamic and modern”, the company said.
The Pepitos! brand in Uruguay is already present in a number of guises, including classic cookies, cakes filled with vanilla and chocolate, and Chispas chocolate-chip cookies.
