Warburtons, the UK’s largest bakery brand, has entered the frozen convenience category for the first time through an exclusive licensing partnership with brand licensing agency Food Brands Now.
The bakery giant has launched a new range of two premium frozen toasties made using its Thick Toastie loaf. The line-up includes the Warburtons Cheese Toastie, which features a classic cheese filling, and the Warburtons Club Toastie, a layered chicken and bacon sandwich. Both products launched across the Iceland and The Food Warehouse estate on 2nd June 2026, providing nationwide availability.
The products retail at an RRP of £3.50 ($4.48) and are supported by a 3 for £10.00 ($12.80) promotion. According to the companies, the collaboration marks the first time Warburtons has extended its brand into licensed products, aiming to tap into consumer demand for convenient meal solutions.
Warburtons chairman Jonathan Warburton commented: “Our 5th generation family business has been dedicated to making the best bakery for families across the country for 150 years. We are really proud to be working with Food Brands Now to create this exciting new range of products on our much loved Thick Toastie loaf, to give consumers an great new option for lunch”.
