The UK’s leading cake brand – Mr. Kipling – is seeing its range expanded with the launch of three new flavours inspired by popular milkshakes, according to a report in FDIN.
The new Mr. Kipling Milkshake Slices have been launched as part of the brand’s ‘snack pack’ offering, designed to cater to the needs of smaller families, and are said to contain lower fat and saturated fat levels than the existing range, as well as providing a source of calcium.
“Our new Milkshake Slices are the ideal sweet treat for lunchboxes.” Helen Kemish, Marketing Controller for Mr. Kipling, said. “The new pack formats will also support mums with their weekly shop by providing a choice of pack sizes for different sized households as well as the option to choose a mix of flavours in smaller packs to cater for different taste preferences at home”.
The three new milkshake varieties – Strawberry, Vanilla & Chocolate and Banana – will join the existing Mr. Kipling ‘snack pack’ range and will be available in four-pack (RRP £1.29) and nine-pack (RRP £2.39) sizes.
