New Covent Garden Soup has announced plans to redevelop its range, including the launch of a new “Skinny Soup”.
New Covent Garden Soup is planning a revamp of its soup range that will see improvements to recipes, flavours, and product quality, Talking Retail reports. The new range will focus on high quality fresh British ingredients, a more effective cooking process and a range of new flavours that offer a modern contemporary twist, it is claimed.
The Skinny Soup is said to have been launched in response to consumer demand for low-salt, high-vegetable content. Four flavours are being made available: Souper Green with Italian Basil Pesto, Goan Spiced Chicken and Lentils, Quinoa & Turtle Beans with Chilli Lime & Tomato, and Vegetable & Green Lentils.
Rob Dixon, marketing controller for New Covent Garden, commented: “The brand has always been a household favourite at the forefront of the chilled soup category, and these product developments further reinforce our position as category innovators, providing fresh, fulfilling soups to consumers across the UK”.
